As a Lakota woman with deep family and community connections, she helps ensure the organization remains grounded in Native perspectives, lived experience and respectful representation.
As Strategic Advisor, Colleen provides cultural guidance and supports relationships with Native community members, elders and potential participants. Her role helps keep Eagle Feather focused on creating opportunities that honor the people and communities involved rather than speaking for them.
Colleen believes cultural exchange is strongest when it is built on trust, listening and genuine human connection.
Through Eagle Feather, she supports opportunities for Native voices, traditions and contemporary experiences to be shared internationally with dignity while helping build relationships that can grow into lasting cultural understanding.
